In the rapidly advancing Energy sector, innovation is key. Sodick is likewise technology-minded. We unveiled the first CNC Die-Sinker with a microcomputer in 1976, and we pioneered the use of ceramic parts in the 1980's. At the turn of the century, we introduced rigid linear motors to the machine tool industry.

Sodick's frictionless magnetic drives deliver more reliability without the high costs of maintaining ballscrews throughout the life of a machine. The vibration-free drives and advanced motion control system ensure that parts achieve the high degree of accuracy and precise surface finish demanded by the Energy industry.

Due to the industry's need for large parts, we have developed a custom solution: the AG80L LST. It features a large work tank for machining large components. An adapted version of the AG80L LST is also available, accommodating even larger work pieces.
