High Speed Mill
The HS430L Vertical Machining Center is designed and built for extreme high speed milling conditions. Sodick’s linear motor technology provides instantaneous servo time, which maximizes cutting efficiency. Since there are no ball screws or couplings on this VMC, backlash is totally eliminated. This provides several advantages, including improved positioning and cutting accuracy, while providing smooth and vibration fee table movement.

The HS Series Vertical Machining Center Line features Sodick’s Linear Motor Drives with Absolute Glass Scale Feedback. Sodick’s X, Y and Z linear motor drives have no backlash. The linear motor technology provides instantaneous servo time, which maximizes cutting efficiency. Since there are no ball screws or couplings, backlash is totally eliminated. This provides several advantages, including improved positioning and cutting accuracy, while providing smooth and vibration free table movement.
40,000 RPM High Speed Spindle
The HS430L Vertical Machining Center features a 40,000 RPM spindle. This spindle is ideal for high-speed, high-precision direct milling of hard surfaces and features a long spindle life. The spindle is high-torque and highly durable and includes micro-oil mist lubrication.

Easy Operation
For enhanced user-friendliness, the Control Panel has been redesigned to rotate 180 degrees. In addition, the USB port allows for easy data transfer and the user memory capacity is 30 GB to accommodate background editing needs. The front doors are designed to slide away into the machine giving greater access to the work area for crane loading. The ergonomically designed HS430L helps operators maintain proper body posture and requires minimal physical strength to operate and maintain the machine.
