Micro Wire
Sodick's linear motor technology provides instantaneous servo time, which maximizes cutting efficiency. Since there are no ball screws or couplings, backlash is completely eliminated. This provides several advantages, including improved positioning and cutting accuracy, while providing smooth and vibration free table movement.
The AP Series is used to EDM small intricate precision parts requiring fine wire diameter and cutting accuracy of 2ƒÊm. With the oil dielectric, the AP Series ensures the minimum overburn resulting in the maximum cutting accuracy.
