We have a aq325l w/ln1w and unfortunatly we do not have the wire shredder, but my problem is after about an hour the wire balls up and gets caught in the rollers. Sometimes it does this then other times it can go for 2 or 3 spools without balling. Ive tried loosening the spring adjustment on the roller but to much causes the wire to slip under tension. Any ideas would greatly be appreaciated. Also how much would a shredder be to add on to this machine?

At one time, Sodick would EDM the roller's surface and it solved the problem. Call service & ask them

We too have had this problem on our AQ600 and A320s.
It is caused by the wire wearing a slight track in the rollers. Im not sure of the arrangement on your machine but in the case of the A320 this can be easily fixed by taking the rollers out and skimming a small amount off the diameter. (the rollers are hard and you will need a cermet insert to turn them, although you could try a carbide tool. Grinding them may also be an option.)
The AQ600 is not so easy. The rollers are ceramic and may need to be ground with a diamond wheel, but the problem is that they are gear driven and any reduction in diameter will decrease the clearance between the gears. I fixed ours temporarilly by making two thin washers which
spaced the rollers accross therefore allowing the wire to run on a new section of the roller.
Now the wire lays nicely in the catcher again.
