I've been doing some testing on really fine finishs and have a question for whoever is the guru on the sinkers. If you make a program in ln assist for a fine finish with a graphite electrode the last condition is C034 and by changing the parameters to an even finer finish but not changing the C034 you can get a fine finish but if you put a C900 number instead of C034 it is even better actually it is night and day difference can anybody tell me the significance of the 900 number ?
Looking forward to your reply Thank You
Steve

Hello Steve,
The situation you describe deals with circuitry. The C900 series introduces a modified current automatically. That said we would recommend the C034 parameters for better speed and a mat surface over the 900 series. The 900 series probably will have a glaze on the EDM surface that would be more difficult to polish. It is a choice between speed and overall finishing needs for that particular mould or cavity. Hope this helped, e-mail me with questions.
